Why we exist
We make your social simple.
One platform. One ecosystem. More control.
Your social presence stretches across platforms, regions, teams and partners. Accounts, access and risks can be hard to see in one place.
We bring those moving parts into one connected view, so you can understand what you hold, see who has access and act on what needs attention.
People should be able to find the real brand. The people responsible for it should have a clearer way to manage and protect it.
Our leadership
Meet the people leading handles.
From a Nasdaq-listed acquisition and X’s Handle Marketplace to adidas and global people operations, our leaders bring the experience to build and run a technology business at scale. They work with a trusted group of team members, channel partners and platform partners.
Bill Roberts
CEO / Founder
A serial entrepreneur, Bill founded Bannerfy at 21. Nasdaq-listed Super League Gaming acquired it in 2021. He later led handles’ work with X on its Handle Marketplace.
Bill sets business and product direction, working with customers and platform partners on the decisions that shape what handles builds next.
Our story · Since 2016
Built by people who know social from the inside.
Our leadership has roots in social, marketing and building businesses. Collectively, they have worked closely with six major social platforms and enterprise brands across continents. Their experience includes global reseller programmes and integrated influencer-ad platforms.
It exposed a recurring gap: brands could grow their social presence faster than they could track account ownership, access and impersonation risk. With SocialBroker in 2022, work on names and accounts became a business of its own.
We built governance and detection around that experience. Today, handles.ai connects the platform and people needed to see and manage a social estate at scale.

A note from our founder
“With traffic and attention shifting from legacy channels like email and web to social media, an unsecured presence means you’re losing ground.”
Experience behind the work
From the name to everything behind it.
Our work spans the details that make a social identity dependable: account moves, access and ownership, evidence-led response and the platform processes that support them.
Names and migrations
We secure handles and plan account moves around the business, people, roles and recovery routes that need a clear handover.

Some questions need a connected view. Others need a conversation, a considered brief or somebody to carry out the agreed work.
Our platform brings accounts, relationships and findings into focus. Our team works with the people responsible for the brand to scope acquisition, review evidence and handle the administration that follows.
That means marketing, legal, security and IT can work from a clearer account of the same estate.
How we work
The way we get there matters.
Protecting trust means being careful about the decisions made in its name. These principles guide the work, from the first brief to the final record.
Evidence before action.
A matching name is a starting point, not a conclusion. We look at the account, its context and the available evidence before deciding what needs attention.
Work within platform policy.
Our work follows the rules of the platforms involved. When a name cannot be secured or a case cannot be supported, we say so. A clear limit is part of a useful answer.
Make room for legitimate voices.
Criticism, commentary, news, parody and satire are not the same as impersonation. We distinguish accounts that discuss a brand from accounts that mislead people about who they are.
Keep the responsibility visible.
A finding needs an owner and a next step. We connect the record to the people doing the work, so decisions and changes can be followed after the conversation ends.
“A brand is only as strong as its authenticity. The Handles team eliminated the confusion of squatted and imitation accounts, ensuring our community always knows exactly where to find our official voice.”
